'Whoa, 2 whole tanks. Very impressive.' 'Hey man, shut up! Its a low budget movie!'
Rating A |
The movie starts when a fat ass craps in a public toilets after eating too much chili, and after negotiating a rather inadequate drainage system get mutated into this giant man eating shit. Pretty funny eh? Seriously though, if you have not seen the movie you have no idea. The story then follows the mayor of the city, a small time scientist and an action superhero in their retaliation against the shit. Meanwhile, the shit invades the TV station, and watch out for pirate broadcasting. 'Believe it or not, this city is being attacked by giant pieces of shit!' The animation is superb. I do not believe that giant shit could be animated better! Its such a laugh to watch shit walk around, it has facial expressions and it moves in a realistic way. It has obviously been thought about. The basic animation is also there, like the animation of vehicles and characters does look as realistic as other movies are. There is an even amount of hand made and default scenes used, the designed scenery is convincing and good in quality and in both the choices of camera angles were superb. Especially in the default street scenes, it really captured the essence of a giant shit rampaging through the streets. It could have been made a little more exiting wih some more fighting in, but what is there already looks good stand alone. The sound was superb. The voices were excellent. The accent of all the characters made shit sound all the more funnier. It was all easy to hear and all the characters had easily distinguishable voices. Excellent. Sounds, although very few were recorded were enough to make the movie sound the best it could. There were some real class sounds near the end, like for the giant lumps of shit falling from the sky and stuff. There was also no compromise with music either. The over dramatic music for the giant shit (taken from the MGS T-Rex battle) made so much of a difference concerning over emphasis. It made the shit seem bigger than it already was. It was also funny in the sense that it was serious at the same time. Just see the movie, its pretty marvelous. What can I say? If you think that this movie was going to be poor then you are wrong. Although I do not think it touches on Enriched Enlightenment I still think that this is quality 3DMM slapstick entertainment. Its my second favorite comedy movie on 3DMM. -Jay Holliday |
